School Day Enrichment Residencies
The biggest initiative our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) budget supports is art and science programs for PS9 students. These classes are given by third-party programs during the school day and are free to every student. They not only inspire creativity but also foster a deeper understanding of the world around us.
Our PTO needs support to sustain this programming. About $120 per student of the PTO budget is dedicated to these classes. A donation of $120 would help cover the cost of these classes, along with other PTO initiatives. If you can give multiples of that, it will help support this initiative for families who may not be in a position to give. Every donation, no matter the size, helps ensure that no child misses out on these experiences.
